Polymer Clay Central Thing A Day - February 5th

Well, due to a pinched nerve, I've been absent from almost everywhere except my chiropractor's office for quite some time. It is not yet "fixed" but sometimes is a little bit better. It started the first week of December and I thought it would "go away". My new learning experience - if I'm having pain over a "3" ever again, I'm heading off to get it fixed before it gets to a "10" for weeks on end.

Now, though, I've had a little bit of a comeback, SO... I'm going to try to keep up with the fun fun fun annual THING A DAY contest at Polymer Clay Central! Okay so I'm 5 days behind already but I'll keep working at it.

Here is a cane I made over the period of about 2 weeks. I hope they start popping out a little faster after this! (click on image to enlarge).

Thank you to all my friends and family for your constant uplifting on my account. You don't know how I appreciate it.

  5. Ouchie! I get those in my shoulders and arms a lot so I know what you're going through! Hope you are finally on the mend!

That cane is downright gorgeous! Glad to hear that your winter has been rather on the mild side. Would you believe that we've had 9 snows? Half of those were dustings, but it is still about 7 more than the typical winter, LOL.

  6. Very nice cane, I don't have the patience for that kind of meticulous work so I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into making a cane. thanks for coming by to say Happy Birthday. I went to see the Bee Gees Tribute here in Vegas at the Excalibur with my husband- a trip down memory lane- it was great!!

  8. Thank you everyone. Donna, I KNOW! And we've had about 25 less snows than usual this winter, very strange. The Bee Gees Tribute, how fun, Heather! Glad you had a nice birthday.
