Thinking Pink in October

Because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, I've made some jewelry in the traditional pink this month - a bracelet of pink and silver and angel earrings of pink and gold. Don't you love the little halos on the angels?

Click on the photos to enlarge them.

I'm getting ready to open my Etsy store, and have been making a lot of jewelry in anticipation. I'll also have my polymer clay work there... I've just been on a jewelry spree lately.

I have also made this "Cubist Necklace" and the prettiest ever Christmas tree earrings. But I can't get a good photo of these earrings to save my life! They are so glittery but my camera can't see it. Hopefully I will get a better photo of them soon, if so I will re-post them. They are made with Swarovski Margarita beads and Swarovski Bicones and Sterling Silver.

  1. Yippee!!, you're up and running, great job. The jewelry is beautiful, every last item. The pink bracelet is awesome, the angel earring are charming, (including the little halos) the Cubist Necklace is very attractive and the Christmas Tree earrings are gorgeous. I hope everyone clicks on the photos cause they look even more awesome when the photos are enlarged. I love Swarovski crystals but I have trouble getting good photos of them too.

I'd say you are off to a good start!!

  4. How lovely! I have some Xmas tree earrings similar to that. Perhaps you can pull your lighting back a bit and use a darker background to reduce the light being reflected back to the crystal. Love the cube-style necklace too! Suddenly, I have an urge to eat some caramel candies, LOL!

  9. The bracelet is great! I love that double-strand look, one chain and one beaded strand. Very nice!
Just for an experiment, try scanning the crystal earrings and see what kind of result you get.
