It was a perfectly sunny day.....

It was a perfectly sunny day, so I took a photo of an airplane flying over towing a glider... (click on photos to see them better)

Then our daughter-in-law, affectionately known as "DIL" posted photos of our son and their kids on Facebook, showing rain and talking about thunder. They live about 2 hours to the east of us. I said, "Rain???!" It's sunny here!" I went outside to look, and hmmm, actually there was one cloud, and a neat shot of a jet flying over:

A few minutes later, this would be about 20 minutes after I saw DIL's photos she'd posted on Facebook, here is what our sky looked like. I wish DIL could get to our house as quickly as these clouds did:

This shot below is across the valley from us, we estimate 4 miles away as the crow flies. The zoom feature sure does make it look closer!

And so, another day in Paradise comes to an end. :)

P.S. I love cloud formations, if you do too, come and visit my blog from time to time. I live in a spot where they are often dramatic looking so I take lots of cloud photos.

Home Fashion

I'd like to share the enormous range of what is beautiful in polymer clay for the home fashion set. It truly is amazing when you realize all that can be done with polymer clay, and this collection of home fashion items shows that well. I hope you'll check out the things that these fabulous artists do with their chosen medium.
