It was a perfectly sunny day, so I took a photo of an airplane flying over towing a glider... (click on photos to see them better)
Then our daughter-in-law, affectionately known as "DIL" posted photos of our son and their kids on Facebook, showing rain and talking about thunder. They live about 2 hours to the east of us. I said, "Rain???!" It's sunny here!" I went outside to look, and hmmm, actually there was
one cloud, and a neat shot of a jet flying over:
A few minutes later, this would be about 20 minutes after I saw DIL's photos she'd posted on Facebook, here is what our sky looked like. I wish DIL could get to our house as quickly as these clouds did:
This shot below is across the valley from us, we estimate 4 miles away as the crow flies. The zoom feature sure does make it look closer!
And so, another day in Paradise comes to an end. :)
P.S. I love cloud formations, if you do too, come and visit my blog from time to time. I live in a spot where they are often dramatic looking so I take lots of cloud photos.
