    Wow! You live in a "wild" place. Our home is rural, but not as wild, although we did see a gorgeous bald eagle on a telephone pool on the way to work last week. Never saw one here before.

    Thanks guys! Donna - I don't know. It was loud, though, we finally had to chase it off when it wouldn't quiet down, lol. It might be a certain kind of woodpecker that we have here but I'm not sure. :) That tree is in front of the house, but I took the photo from the back of the house.

    Great shot Jackie! I was marveling the other day at just a similar sight, how light must birds be to sit on top of a tree and be able to stay there.
